Comercial Monster

Dragons! Creatures from human imagination that is responsible for so many legends, fairytales, books and movies.

In Krakow there is a scary statue of the dragon that lived inside the cave under the Wawel Castle. Almost 3 meters tall and with a huge mouth open towards the sky, it’s an obligatory visit. No only the big burned mouth from the fire, he has several arms with smaller heads on the top, reminding some monsters from the Hollywood saga: Alien.

The legend says that the beast only got out of his lair to chase, rape and eat young and beautiful virgins. And it was a brave prince, which gave the name to the city, Craco, that with a tricky plan set a trap to the monster.

A lamb with the belly full of explosives was left in the entrance of the cave, place where the dragon died and where it was built the statue.

Now the funny part!

For a few grozys and with a simple SMS, it’s possible to make the dragon spit a burst of fire. That’s right! One sends a SMS for a short number and the statue expels a fire flame for the happiness of the children and adults.

I now can imagine the lion on Marquês de Pombal spiting fire with a SMS or Adamastor statue blowing smoky clouds after introducing some coins. Here is as a suggestion to the candidates to Lisbon city hall.
